Console question?

With the pubs closing and a real chance of a lockdown I’m looking at getting a console to pass the time, I’m way out of the loop as to what’s good and what isn’t?
Is the PS4 the most up to date console and could anyone recommend a good value bundle? I liked first person shooters back in the day, medal of honour etc

Most powerful (and capable of running at native 4k) is the Xbox One X. PS4 Pro also displays at 4k although using chequerboarding (so 2k scaled up) but generally has a much larger library of games and exclusives.

Both Sony and Microsoft offer cooking versions for those who don't care about 4k gaming (PS4 slim and X box One S respectively) which are pretty much match for match.

Both consoles are due to be replaced by next gen machines by the end of the year.

Personally, I'd go Xbox and Game Pass. Have a google.

Went for the PS4 with the Star Wars bundle, cheers
