It's now available as an early access game on steam.

Been on my wish list for year - anyone got it yet? Might take a punt later, I lost countless hours to the earlier versions. The viking and fantasy mods were great.

Yeah I'm playing it now, it's basically just warband updated and improved, with a few new features like having kids (I think you can eventually die and they inherit)
Some stuff from mods has made it in as well, like watching the battles carry on if you are unconscious
the levelling up and skills are different too, I've just realised I had a load of perks to pick

Early access though so there's bugs and a few missing features.

I like it, its been on my watch list for while. Only played the multiplayer part, is there a guide that suggest strategy for troop selection and counters?

I bought it last night. Im really st.
I cant block, and struggle to hit anything, either with a sword of a spear and especially when charging on a horse...

Im enjoying buying cheap stuff and taking it somewhere else to sell it..
