Hi, looking for an off the shelf pc for i racing and similar.
Been looking on https://www.box.co.uk/gaming-pcs
ideally don't want to spent more than £800 and want ready built.
Many thanks

Personally I think it would be worth stretching the budget a little to get 16gb of memory and a RTX2060 graphics card for future proofing.

Never used AWD-IT but reguarly appear on hotukdeals etc and not heard of anyone having any issues.
Heres a pre-build with the AMD 3600, RTX 2060 and 16gb ram (3000mhz) for £769. Could build it cheaper but if you want pre-built its not bad.
Those PC's on Box look very expensive for their components.

In all honesty you get way, way more for your money by building yourself. These days it takes a couple of hours to put everything together without any prior knowledge. It’s all keyed so you can’t plug anything in the wrong way and there are loads of videos on YT on how to do it. I’d recommend Linus tech tips, bitwit and hardware nexus videos.
Let me go run up a spec list. Do you need everything including mouse, keyboard and monitor?
My basket at Overclockers UK:

1 x MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC (Socket AM4) DDR4 ATX Motherboard= £128.99
1 x Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C16 3200MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black (CMK16GX4M2B32= £82.99
1 x AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Six Core 4.2GHz (Socket AM4) Processor - Retail= £179.99
1 x Powercolor Radeon RX 5700 XT Dual Fan 8GB GDDR6 PCI-Express Graphics Card= £329.99
1 x WD Blue SN550 500GB NVME M.2 2280 PCIe Gen3 Solid State Drive (WDS500G2B0C)= £71.99
1 x Seagate 2TB Barracuda 7200RPM 256MB Cache Internal Hard Drive (ST2000DM008)= £56.99
1 x Arctic Freezer 34 eSports 120mm CPU Cooler - Black / Grey= £29.99
1 x Lian-Li Lancool II ARGB Midi-Tower Case - Black= £82.99

Total: £976.52 (includes shipping: £12.60)

Little bit steeper than your budget, could drop the 2TB hard drive and just go for a single 1TB SSD or go for a cheaper case. The motherboard can and should be changed to MSI B450 Tomahawk Max but it’s out of stock at OCUK. It’s still far, far better than any Box machine.
This Box machine https://www.box.co.uk/Cube-Revolver_2477623.html?c... is closest but smaller SSD (only 20GB mind) half size mechanical hard drive too but still more expensive. Windows can be got for £10 on eBay and works like a charm on my PC. With the changes above you’ll be saving £100 or more over the box machine.
