Legacy of Kain : Soul Reaver cut bits.

This might be a bit niche this.

I loved the Legacy of Kain games when I was young, it's still my favourite game series even after all this time.

Anyway, the very first forum I ever joined was a legacy of kain board. It was a really good, tight knit community. Sadly it closed years ago. But there was a member of that community called Ben Lincoln, he loved looking into cut content, and on Soul Reaver there is loads of cut content.

So out of blue, after 15 years or so, he's posted loads of videos showing the cut content he's managed to get working.

Like I said, this is a bit niche. But if there are other fans of the series on here, its really interesting stuff.

Absolutely loved these games, I'm annoyed they never properly finished the story. The first Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver game in particular was a monumental achievement in terms of scope, imagination, world-building and outright technical accomplishment. It pushed the hardware of PS1 so hard. The soundtrack was amazing too.

If ever there was a game that was ripe for a remake and expanding, it is this.

I also enjoyed Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen 2, a canonical sidestep from Soul Reaver, but also very cool and fun.

I'm with you on that, I would love a remake of soul reaver. Or even a 3D Blood Omen.

A classic series. I can remember gaming mags going wild for this series back in the day. Soul Reaver in particular was massive, and was a tremendous achievement. It clearly left a great impression on me as I can still remember all the vampiric foes today.
