I really enjoyed the original STALKER series, will this be released on PS4 (I can't view the trailer at the moment).
"The Stalker series has always been on PC, but Stalker 2 is also a "console launch exclusive" on Xbox. That's a confusing phrase, but it doesn't mean PC players will have to wait. It just means PlayStation owners will be out of luck. Stalker 2's official site states the PC version will launch simultaneously with the Xbox version."https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/stalker-2-release-date-...

Major questions for this game:
Is it going to have that "Jank" that the first stalker game franchise had? I mean yeah fine most of the time i wanted the game to stop crashing when i was doing things, but is fixing it going to take away that extra edge of fear away while playing or rob us of the unique bugs and glitches that most other players will remember very well?
Is it going to follow on from the absolutely silly story about C-conciousness and all that weird "Hey Strugatsky brothers, we've robbed your entire setup here, we'll just stick this awful ending/back street plot surgery over the top" or are we going to get a new thought out story, one that maybe brushes the endings of the first well under the rug.
Obviously more questions but whats the point at a trailer, it's got the looks and the developers know exactly how to market that depressing soviet/russian bleakness that some people seem to find enthralling, i mean look at the whole "Russian doomer music" Stuff on youtube, loads of compilations, loads of difference but all with that Russian/eastern europe feeling that most people can originally remember as the Stalker games, another good example of this is the whole hardbass music thing which thanks to some youtubers grew up/got bigger around memes and samples from stalker.
It's a good chance for those who haven't read Roadside Picnic to get it read and those who already have to revisit Red and his story and ground yourselves with the original stalkers and the original zone and the absolute incredible world the Strugatsky brothers built. Where guns wouldn't save you in the zone, stalkers could have children that had deformities that go beyond what we could see in normality and the dead (in the most non-zombie-trope way) climb from the grave to walk the land again.
