Steam link app

Trying to use the steam link app on my tv it's installed and connected to my pc. I can launch a game doom eternal but I just get a black screen. I try bioshock 2 I get picture and sound but controls dont work correctly

Can anyone help

can't help with the black screen but I had to install 'virtual here' from steam to get my controller/race wheel to work.
