In my haste I mistakenly purchased my daughter a Sims4
Cats and Dogs pack for PC/Mac but she has a PlayStation.

Couldn’t find the pack on its own in Playstore so purchased from Argos online.

Collected today and she excitedly opened the packaging before I realised it was for PC!

Bit frustrating but has anyone ever done similar and been able to return? (It’s a code rather than disc).

Alternatively any suggestions of where I could sell it?

Now got an impatient 7 year old looking for me to compound my mistake by buying her an alternative Sims pack on playstore!

Cheers

I highly doubt it, software isn't covered under their returns guarantee and they can't guarantee it hasn't been redeemed.

As mentioned it’s not covered, but could go in asking to swap for PS4 version as made a mistake.

Say you don't with the EULA so have to return it.
(If it's got one)

Is it a scratch off code?
If its not scratched off you should be able to return it.
On web ps store the cats and dogs bundle is currently discounted till the 30th.
Is this not what you want?

If returning it isn't an option, you can always sell the code (or the full game) on ebay to get some of your money back. There's the possibility you may get a scammer, but every time I've done this with unwanted codes it has been fine. I'd try returning it to the shop first and see what they say (try and swap it for the right format if you can).
