Fortnite - Nintendo to PS4 login/account issues
Discussion
Hey Guys - hoping someone here will be able to help out.
Have tried a few specialist forums but to no avail...
Have been thru the unbelievably painful process of account linking and family managment across a couple of devices.
My Eldest (11) has had a fortnite account on his nintendo switch, for about a year
this Xmas - we got a PS4
I've set up a PS4 ID for myself (as a family manager) - He has one as well - this was what we wanted to link to the epic games/existing nintendo fortnite account
When tried to link his epic games account (fortnite) - it defaulted to sign in to the family manager (me) for the PS4 account connection
As such his Epic games account - is connected to my PS4 account (but hasnt been played yet)
As i understand it - existing accounts cannot be switched across differing PS4 ID's?
The only way for him to play his linked account would be to log in on my ID - which kinda nullifies the point of having a family manager/restricted access for Kids account (his brother and sister, aged 7 & 9) will be watching/playing alongside - so i dont want the full playstation violent games exposed to them.....)
Uber frustrating - so if anyone can advise would be most grateful?
Cheers Y'all.
Tim.

I had to do this recently as daughter used to play only pc and now used my sons PS4.
Link the PS4 login - your one to an epic account on the Epic Games website from a PC. Login and click on account management and link the PSN (PlayStation Network).
We had a bit of a game sorting this but you can raise a support email with Epic games (from the website) and they are really helpful, it took me about 3 emails back and forth to sort and they took anything from 24 hours down to just 15 minutes to respond depending how busy they are.
Just email them all the info, the username on the switch and the PSN name and they will advise.
