Release trailer:

I wasn't going to but it (as i have all 3 + texture mods) but i know I'm just kidding myself.

And it's good to see Femshep finally getting equal billing in the promo.

Well, guess I may as well make it 4 play thoughs.

Lets not pretend it'll be anything more than a few more textures and support for newer monitors.....but still....its Mass Effect, so it must be done.

I'll be getting it. I will of course be playing as the Male Shep, as it is the way it was meant to be. This is known to all Mass Effect enjoyers.

2 things:

We all know where all the stuff is on the bloody planets, so just magic it into the hold, please, and save hours of my life.

This time, I'm not running all over the ship every spare minute - they can all* come to my cabin when I want to talk to them - I'm the frickin' captain!

*Except Joker, obvs.

Nah, Femshep is by far the best. Manshep is dull as ditchwater.

They've redone a lot of ME1 to update it apparently, combat especially.

One game / series I've never played and have no idea why.

I guess I'll have no excuse now!

That is the key for me, if they haven't overhauled ME1 then I probably won't bother. If they can bring it up to the standard of ME2/3 then I'll be happy! Shame they won't be reviving the ME3 multiplayer, that was good fun.

Definitely looks better. And they've changed the UI etc:

Might be worth it for all that DLC.. It will definitely look a bit old though - the above screenshot is great but the trailer looked like the texture pack it probably is for the most part.

Are we pretending Andromeda didn't happen? I'm happy to sling it in there with Highlander 2 etc.

Andromeda was disappointing - although I think if it didn't have the Mass Effect badge though, it would've been better received and would have probably been a better game without the baggage.

I must be in the minority as I thoroughly enjoyed it - two complete playthroughs! (and I played as FemShep/Ryder) biggrin

Never ever played a Mass Effect game.

Might just have to pick this up seeing as they’ve overhauled the older games.

That has really piqued my interest..however...

Played the first one and never got into the shooting/combat side of it. It just didn't click with me. Heard this has been updated though, is it more like a traditional shooter now?

Wow, 4K sounds amazing! Oh wait, I've only got a 1050ti to play with.
