Rather than the day version, we are down for doing the Dusk version.................but.

(It will be the authentic modern chicane's on Mulsanne version as the 1990 one without that's included has a very nasty bump that knocks a lot of speed off where the 2nd chicance is)

How many would like to do the night version instead? :D

Its the most crazy longest track i've been on, not done the 'ring yet!

You have to have real long gears, my 360 Modena tops off at about 172mph down the longest straights!! I don't think thats too bad for an NGT!!!

There are no corner pointers on the track like the normal GTR tracks, so watch out for that!

Also watch out for the deceptively tight right hander with the little crane vehicle infront, you'll know what I mean when you see it

Never raced there yet - can't wait. Vague memories of doing a license test there on GT4 but not a whole lap I don't think.

Excited to give it a go!

Hi guys!

Dumb question - how do I install the track???

And can I have a definative answer on the turning your motor off in pit stops - I assume this is why I have a DNF for Barcelona???

Cheers

Use WinRAR to unzip it into your

GTR/gamedata/locations folder.

Theres also a patch for brighter headlights, but I don't know if it wll cause problems on the server if some have it and some don't maybe FWD can answer this.

I think with the turning the engine on/off if you don't setup any keys for the ignition and starter the game does it automatically.

Just use automatic clutch then you don't have to worry about turning your engine on or off.

Don't know about the lights, that'll probably be just a local PC issue not server dependent (they seemed fine when we did a dusk race online a few weeks back).

As for installing

Only one "Yay" for night Le Mans so far (not inlcuding me)

If there aren't many more I'll email Sammie and we'll stick with Dusk, it looks the best IMHO.

Only just downloading this now - haven't raced at all at le mans yet so can't make a decision until I have.

Hopefully will get an hour or so in today and should then be able to decide.

My preference is dusk too - half the corners don't have markers and at night I think I'll be in every gravel trap!

I'll go for the dusk one....

Can I change car? - used the vertigo @ barcelona but it c p on the long straights!! even with tweeking I can only get 164mph flat out!

Whats the next easiest NGT/G2 car to drive - F360??

Cheers

I love the Morgan, great noise. If driven flat out it's only just slower on lap time than an F360 but much easier to handle as it's front engined so might be better for you on a long race. Similar to the Vertigo but one step up in performance. When you have mastered the Morgan the next step would be a GT and I would reccomened the Corvette first as it also has good handling. When you've mastered that you should be able to have a good go at anything, you'll then find preferences in cars.
