Far Cry 5 £13.99 Worth getting ?

Yes it's a good addition to the series and definitely a big improvement over the snooze-fest that was FC4. The story is hokey as ever but it does suck you in.
As for the ending...for sure I didn't see it coming although it does tease it all the way through. And although I might not have actually liked it, there are very few games that finish and leave me actually feeling something other than "right, what now?" so this was exceptional just for that.

Well, I'll be the alternative voice then. I didn't like it. I really hated where you were taken to a very tedious boss fight regardless of where you were or what you were doing at certain points. That completely spoiled the game for me. The random aerial attacks were also a bit of a pain and I didn't enjoy the flying bits much either - couldn't seem to get on with flying the plane.
In contrast, I really enjoyed 3, liked 4 too and, when I finally played Primal, after having thought it wouldn't be up to much, enjoyed that too (any really great sound in Primal).

Yes, brilliant game. The Far Cry series seem to get better with each offering.
Agree
Get ready for FC6 it's the BIGGEST OPEN WORLD map.https://youtu.be/lQNHBa0fvBM
I enjoyed it, it's mindless fun.
It doesn't add much to the formula of FC4 (I haven't played any of the others), just swaps the Himalayas with Rural USA. The controls especially in vehicles are clunky and they didn't spend a lot of time designing the NPCs, there's a couple of different types, but that's it.
I've got New Dawn as well which has some elements which are more fun, but it's the lessor of the two games.

Its a very good game with the exception of the forced kidnappings during the campaign. But apart from that its endless hours of fun.
Its a beautiful world to explore and half the fun is just wandering around and seeing what you might find. Stay away from the roads if you want to avoid running into enemies who attack on sight. You can unlock perks such as Guns for Hire who you can have accompany you around. These can be a dog, a cougar, a giant bear or several human companions. I've spent untold hours rolling around the map with a couple of these and just going on random adventures.
Arcade mode is fantastic. I've spent nearly as much time in Arcade playing in maps created by other players then in campaign mode. There's some very creative map builders out there.
Sad to hear that Far Cy 6 won't have arcade
