I've played the first mission solo, awaiting my friend buying it as well as we often play things like Left 4 Dead and Vermintide.
First impressions are a little "meh"; the guns feel and sound like toys, and movement overall is quite 'floaty'; whilst the camera isn't ideal as it's locked to a third-person mode with your character taking up about a quarter of the screen.
It is classic L4D style gameplay though, minimal story just jump straight into the action and wander a map fending off swarms of aliens and occasional boss types. Lots of things to customise your weapons and character, all unlocked through gameplay and XP.
Overall it was an enjoyable first play, but I hope that there are some improvements around the above points, as they do dilute the 'feel' of the game at the moment.

Was playing it with a couple of friends last night. Pretty good fun, good character personalisation and progression and the classes were distinctive. Hoping there's a little variation with the locales but I don't think it's a long game.
I hope there will be replayability when we finish it!
