I was looking at the huge number of unplayed and barely played games in my library, and thought I could start a thread so we could list some backlog games and more importantly, see if we get anywhere near clearing them.
For me it is.
Death Stranding - Thought I'd give it a go and it was cheap.
Witcher 3
Cyberpunk 2077
Assasins Creed : Valhalla
Yakuza : Like a Dragon
Honourable mentions go to
Fallout 4
The Outer Worlds.

For me, the barely played games are
Battlefield 1 - Nearly completed the campaign but got bored and uninstalled it
Battlefield Hardline - Although I like the presentation, I found the game utterly boring
Battlefield V - For some reason it micro stuttered on my machine, even though it was running at 100 FPS. Got sick of it and uninstalled it after an hour
I bought all of these as they were £4 each and I LOVED 3 and 4.
On to racing games.
Dirt Rally 2 - Bought it on Steam as it was cheap, never even installed it.
Assetto Corsa - Again bought it as it was cheap (£3.50 I think), although I initially enjoyed it and LOVED the KTM XBow, the cars afterwards seemed to be understeering heaps of junk so I got bored.

Manhunt - started today on Xbox Series X backwards compatible. Loved it when it came out in 2003. One of the all time greats.
Binary Domain - backwards compatible game from the studio most famous for the amazing Yakuza game series. I played this back in 2012 when it was new and thought it was sensational, probably the best cover shooter of all time.
Grim Dawn - notoriously good ARPG finally out on Xbox so looking forward to dual-classing and caning it
They're the only three games I've really got sitting waiting to clear.

Really surprised you didn’t like it! It’s just such a beautiful game and the story is fantastic.
Its Just so Slow. Just got into Days Gone and really enjoying it.
Next on the list is Icarus, then Daylight 2 (when out).
I was a big BF player but can't bring myself to try BF6.

RDR1 was an utterly fantastic game. Totally captured me. Top 10 game, that one. I've been half way through RDR2 for some time. I keep going back to it but I've just run out of enthusiasm.
Next lot for me finish are:
Alien; Isolation
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice
I've also got the GTA Trilogy to start, but, that's a purchase regret.
After those two, and FH5 ongoings, I think it's time to decide if I get an XSX, or think GT7 will be the greatest thing ever and get myself a PS5.

+1 , loved RDR, love how RDR2 looks, the gameplay is unnecessarily slow and tedious I've just started Cyberpunk 2077
Detroit become human
Homewold1/2
Probably a couple of VR games.
I enjoyed Detroit become human. I thought it was really immersive and different.
I've got RDR2 and Wolfenstien 2 waiting to be played, but season 6 of Snowrunner just dropped so that's me for the next few weeks at least.
Also keen to play Death Stranding and the new Life is Strange game - hoping they might be on sale in the new year.
Just finished playing Telltale's The Walking Dead for the first time and that was amazing (apart from S3).

At the moment I am nearing the end of Shadow of Mordor, I'm cutting through the orcs like butter at the moment, I think I spent too long trying to brand the 5 warchiefs and now I am almost completely maxed out only 60% through the game, except for the health bar which I deliberately keep low, just to give them a chance
Anyway, the next 5 games, well I'm not usually one for playing one game, finishing it and starting another but at the moment I feel like playing a JRPG next: either Star Ocean - Till the end of Time or Tales of Xillia.
From there:
2. Red Dead Redemption 2
3. Getting the good ending in Colony Wars.
4. A Bard's Tale
5. Dishonoured
Of course, this list will be completely different in a week's time.

Just finished Days Gone and bloody loved it(after initially hating it)
Just started Just Cause 4 and am not really caring for it, despite loving 2 + 3. It is fun just destroying stuff though..
Next up will be Far Cry 5. I keep meaning to start RDR2, but keep putting it off. Also Resident Evil 2 remake. Maybe Assetto Corsa or one of the Need for Speed games. Or Borderlands 3, or Wolfenstein 2... Honestly, there is too much stuff to consider what to play next! Lol.
I'm even considering starting Skyrim again for the last couple of missions required for the platinum trophy..
Edit to add, maybe witcher 3 might also be worth trying..
