Dying Light 2

Yes.

Never played Dying Light 1, but jumped into this on PC when it came out. Full raytracing looks brilliant, and the gameplay loop is very addictive. It's nice that the side missions actually give you decent rewards. Just got the grappling hook and it's very satisfying when you use it properly.

I mostly enjoy having a weapon modded to electrocute and set fire to zombies at the same time.

I had Dying Light 1 on the PS4 and it was pretty good, this is a bit better I think. Similar basically but still fun with improvements such as being able to massively upgrade the molotovs etc.

Must confess I am having some fun turning renegades into zombies and watching them wreak havoc....

And the same fun I had in 1, using bait then molotovs/shock weapons on the crowds........

I’m quite a way into this, also never played DL1.

Downside for me is it’s a little samey, not much variety to the map, but it’s a decent game that I’m quite enjoying.

I recently purchased DL1 as it was on sale, haven’t played it yet though, it was more of an impulse purchase, is it good?

Yes 1 is fun, a touch outdated now I would say but still. I spent a many hours on buses on the bridge with molotovs....

ETA - oh and in 2, make sure to fire an arrow or a throwing knife at the back of the guys in the hazmat suits - it is hilarious !

Nothing more satisfying then drop kicking a zombie or person and watching them fly. Most entertaining part of DL2 and DL1. Extra points if they hit the spiked traps, fall of a building or a bridge.
