Can you connect external speakers to a PS5?
Discussion
Not directly I don't think.
You can use an HDMI audio extractor like

Or via an AV amp or your TV if it's got the right connections maybe

I life the audio from the earphones socket (3.5mm jack) on my monitor and feed it to my power amp through a pre amp and then to my speakers. So there are a few options, just depends on what kit you currently have. You can use an HDMI audio extractor like

I also do this, works pretty flawlessly and my PC monitor is on the older side now and wasn't an expensive unit to begin with. No audio sync issues.3.5mm Out to the input on my amp, then simply fed to my bookshelf speakers.
