XBox Series X game on XBox One?

Someone has bought my daughter the Just Dance game below and it is for XBox Series X/S but we have XBox One. The box contains no disc and a download code only and I have never bought a game like this (normally bought either disc or purchase and download direct from online).

Does anyone know if I will be able to select the Xbox model when I activate the code or is the code locked to XBox type? Obviously I don’t want to open the box and risk not being able to return it!
