OpenEMU - N64 controller issue (Mac OS)

Wondering is anyone has any suggestions.

Running on Mac OS. I have OpenEMU installed to run things like N64 games. I also have a iNNEXT USB N64 controller.

The issue I'm having is, pressing button B on the controller opens up launchpad (the Games folder to be precise).

This happens in game, when configuring the controller etc. None of the other buttons do anything weird and all the buttons seem to work in-game, bar button B, which I think does work, but as soon as you press it, it opens launchpad and looses focus on the game.

I can't seem to figure a way around it. Anyone else seen similar or got an idea of a work around? I assume it is using some sort of shortcut command in the background when you press button B.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I’m in Ventura and have the same issue ;(

I was just about to open up my controller and solder swap two of the buttons, just gave it one last check and boom the B button works now and doesn’t open launchpad 😀😀😀
