Anyone else taken the plunge?

First impressions ; has 2 types of paddles to put on the back, long thin ones , and small semi circular one, the circular ones work extremely well and are comfortable to use

, I am able to change profiles quickly using a function button

. Battery life not good ,

the feel is more premium with better quality materials.

also being able to change the sensitivity of the thumbsticksnis useful,

all in all very pleased with the purchase

Have you ever held/used an Xbox Elite V2 controller? I was wondering if the sony controller has that extra weight and feeling of solid build quality? I have 3 PS5 controllers and 2 Xbox one style controllers including the Elite V2. So I'd be happy to part with the cash if the sony one just felt more solid and obviously premium in every department over the standard PS5 controllers. Can you share your view?

Hi I've got an Xbox as well and had the elite V2 but sent it back as couldn't get comfortable with it, the Edge Controller does have a similar premium feel however it's greatest strength in my opinion is that the comfort and shape is an improved version of the standard controller , the 2 back buttons are so weill implemented and the abilty to swop profiles on the fly (pressing the function button brings up a sub menu on the screen) it basically feels like the controller it should of always come with
