Yoke/Joystick for XBox Flight Sim
Discussion
I've been messing around with MS Flight Sim on my son's XBox and really enjoying it, and so has he (which surprises me as he's only 7). I'd really like to get a yoke and throttles to make it more realistic, having all the flight controls under one thumb is a bit rubbish! I'm a total newbie at this, and have some questions. The Xbox is a One X, and FS is via cloud gaming.
1-We have a GT Omega Classic wheel stand for a Logitech G920 wheel for Forza etc...can a yoke and throttle quadrant fit this stand?
2-Any recomendations? Turtle Beach look good...I assume it has to be an XBox specific setup, a PC setup won't work?
3-Most throttle quadrants are for twins...if flying a 4 engine aircraft does the left throttle control 1 & 2, and the right 3 & 4?
4-I quite like the idea of properly geeky engine start sequences on something like the C47/DC-3, how do you navigate and "interact" with the switches on screen with a yoke setup (stuff like boost pumps/cowl flaps that don't have a dedicated hardware button)
Anything else I should be aware of?
Thanks
