Hi

I've wanted to play ff7 remake for years. I've got an Xbox one but it's never getting released on there.

I could buy a ps4 & game prob £200. Which is a lot for one game.

Alternatively I could get a PC / laptop & game which id use for browsing.

What sort of 2 hand PC should I be looking at?

Thanks

Jake

You could probably pick up a cheap Xbox Series S on FB Marketplace. Probably the best cheap console going

Also it's being made in three parts, you'd be going for this supposed cheap option but have only considered the first part.

When is part three going to be out? 2026? You might want to consider investing long term?

I didn't buy it on the PS4 because I knew I'd be getting a PS5, so waited until I got one then I could play them all on one console.

You can buy an original PS4 on gumtree for under £100. You just need to keep a close eye on the market and have cash ready.

Buy the game second hand. Play it and then sell both the PS4 and the game for the same price you paid for it. So essentially its a temporary investment rather than a proper no return spend.

I've seen PS4 as cheap as £80. Personally I didnt think much of the remaster and put it back in the box after an hour of play and moved on (this is a bad habit of mine).

Also worth noting that the remake is part 1 of 3, the remaining 2 parts are ps5 exclusives as far as I'm aware. But I agree with buying PS4 and part 1 second hand to start with, see if you like them.
