Can anyone recommend a game on Xbox game pass as i am finding myself aimlessly trawling through various titles and can't seem to cling to anything at all?

I'll admit sometimes i have a habit of playing something for 10 mins and if I'm not hooked by then it gets switched off, the last game i played was Mafia definitive edition and i did manage to complete that as the storyline kept me wanting to play it but since then nothing at all as there is a lot of crap on there (IMO) of course, but any suggestions are much welcome.

The only game worth playing since mw3 is rocket league. I hadn't picked up a controller properly in 10 years but bought a used ps4 months ago just to play RL and I fcensoreding love it.

Love simulators, so I'm looking forward to the new MSFS coming out next month, I use to enjoy the Battlefield games once upon a time but don't feel they are as good as the used to be tbh, stopped playing FC24 as all that does is boil my blood laugh

I'm open to most things really, I just feel as though games are nowhere near as interesting as they use to be but then maybe I'm getting old and losing interest??

A Odessey was, for me, the best of the series.

Power Washer Simulator is probably my favourite on GP.

Quantum Break is an underated gem. As is Control from the same developer.

If you like something unique, Inscryption has just been added. It is a fantastic game.

For Narrative you could try As Dusk Falls.

There is tonnes of great games on there.

I mean, really there are hundreds of awesome games. Sticking to offline now though......

Horizon Zero Dawn - impressive graphics, gameplay and quite a story too (unique IMHO). Open world
Ghost of Tsushima - cool game, funny, samurai play too.... Open world.
The Last of Us - just immersive beyond belief, I can not explain how you get absorbed in the characters. Linear gameplay but still
Days Gone - as with TLOU, the immersive nature of this game has to be experienced to be believed. You really, really feel for them. The game play I find fantastic too (zombies).
Resident Evil 4 remake - It is linear etc but enjoyable.

Not sure if they're available on the game pass, but I've recently been playing GTA San Andreas and GTA 4 on my old PS3, so I can 100% them for all of the trophies.

If you can put up with the ropey old graphics and outdated controls, there are many hours of fun in them thumbup

I was looking for something and found Mafia "Definitive edition", a remake of the old 2002 game, played an hour or two yesterday, pretty good.

Yeah i have played that recently and finished it, quite enjoyed that actually despite being a tad unsure at first, but the characters kept me hooked on it in the end.

Having been a huge fan of the original the rewriting and terrible voice actors were a huge turn off.

The original was much more serious/less slapstick, more atmospheric and better paced.

Gameplay was a huge improvement though. The original Mafia wasn't good for 2002.

Also check out Mafia 2 and 3 for great story driven games.
