Anyone an expert on these?

Was looking to buy the blue elctrofreaks unit - but out of stock all but in Hong Kong.

The meow units seems to come with and without batteries and with and without cables.

I am after something complete that will work on Christmas Day and that we can upload code from pc. Any advice welcomed. I’m not very tech orientated.
