I've just copied the DLSS file out from the latest Cyberpunk 2077 update and dropped it into Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered and the difference was big, same game version too so it's not a game update improvement and same nvidia driver.

Couldn't really try this with Cyberpunk as the game updated too.

DLSS 3.8.10

DLSS 4 (310.1.0.0)

Worth trying on other games, just find the nvngx_dlss.dll (right click properties to see the details, product version is 310) and copy it to your desktop and then find the files in other games and copy it in, or wait for Techpowerup to update the DLSS database and DLSSUpdater to get the file to update your games - https://github.com/Drommedhar/DlssUpdater

Rename your old DLSS to nvngx_dlss-old.dll so it doesn't get overwritten and you can change back if needed.

Reports of significant quality and performance gains in other titles, like Space Marine 2, Indiana Jones, GoW....pretty much anything with DLSS. Just need to replace the files manually until they decide to patch the games.

Free FPS and image quality boosts - more to come when the new driver comes out at the end of the month too. Crazy.

Yeah, I updated MSFS2024 . I play in VR running an RTX4070. Its just made the game look absolutely amazing. 30-35fps on high end settings which looks pretty bloody good on a Meta Quest 3.

I used DLSS swapper, Nvidia profile inspector and DLSSTweaker.

DLSS Updater does DLSS, Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction DLL updates.

It's not updated for DLSS4 yet though.

Just noticed the Ray reconstruction and frame gen is updated on Cyberpunk too, I might try copying and dropping those into other games that use them.

Just copied the DLSS 4 nvngx_dlssg.dll frame generation file from Cyberpunk to Horizon Zero Dawn Remasters and it jumped another 25 fps over the DLSS 4 benchmark in my first post. It might even go higher as I ran the benchmark with other process running in Windows.

DLSS, Frame Gen and Ray Reconstruction DLLs updated to 310.2 now.

https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-d...

DLSS Updater app has these listed too now for easy game updating.

Is using DLSS Updater/DLSS Switcher still better than the Nvidia App? I was under the impression the latter was going to make all this easier, but all I can select is "latest"

Games don't always have the latest DLSS version even after game updates, DLSS updater allows you to download the latest DLSS, Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction and update the game you want yourself.

Lists the games and the versions, then you can change them, depending on the features they use.

I know the app can now do the latest now, but this is quick and you can see each game that uses each bit of tech and so what can be updated, also not all of the games that can be updated are supported in the nvidia app, see below.

Horizon Forbidden West which uses all 3 bits of tech have unsupported DLSS updates in the app.

Starfield and Balder's Gate 3 framgen options aren't supported in the app either.

I can't seem to get it work.

I've done the dlss swapper and tried through the Nvidia app, but it lets me select latest in the app but can't click on the "apply"

If you have already swapped the DLSS in a swapper program the Nvidia app probably won't let you apply the latest because it can read you already have the latest one installed.
