Heroes of Might and Magic

I used to love this as a kid, I can't remember exactly which ones I played, but fairly sure it was the first 3 or 4 at least.

Anyone used to play this? Wondering if this might be the thing that tempts me into buying a laptop of some sort to actually play this (work MacBook Pro not gonna work I'm assuming)

I vaguely remember it but my brother played it a lot more than I did.
