Wondering if anyone else is struggling through this at the moment? I completed Hollow Knight, but then struggled with the end game content. This seems another notch up in difficulty, but I've just made it to act 2 and finding it very satisfying to make progress, in the same manner as a Souls game.
I never finished hollow knight, so I recently restarted that with a view to getting silksong once I'd finished it, but to be honest reading the Reddit threads is putting me off. I struggled with hollow knight so not sure I can deal with something that's deliberately been made more difficult.
I'm tempted to give it a go as it's free on gamepass so there's nothing to lose. I enjoyed the original but didn't finish it. I think ultimately it was the long walk-backs at certain points in the game that I didn't enjoy. I remember one boss where I was continuously trying to beat it for probably an hour but because it was next to a save point, i enjoyed the challenge. In the end I died miles from my last save point, turned the game off and just never went back even though that hadn't been my intention.
As per the above comments all the feedback and what I've seen to date it looks more challenging which is putting me off. They're great games though, no doubt about it.
