Banned from playing

This is not me,although it has happened to me in this title.
Basically a racing game containing quite a complex ratings system, I will say from the start I detest ratings systems, they make you drive in an unrealistic way to achieve whatever you might want to, for instance slowing on the green flag, deliberately qualifying slowly or startingt from the pit to fake the numbers.
Basically in this title you have two systems, a safety and a driver rating, one is based on crashing, clean laps, etc etc the other largely on results and they are both very different in how they are calculated, despite looking identical at first glace.
A system has been introduced that automatically bans a player if his safety ratings gets too low, basically a threshold is reached over a period of time and you are prevented from playing the game for 24 hours. This can be for a drip of offences or in certain cases a large incident say at a race start when several infractions can be had, say multiple contacts, off tracks etc etc.
Now I think this is getting silly preventing people from playing, a lot of people seem to agree with it, or are fine with it, but if you are learning, you are going to make mistakes, crash a bit and banning them seems a little OTT.
