looks better on my PC then the xbox 360
Aren't most games better on a fastish PC ? Is it just cost that makes the 360 a good idea?
exactly right. £280 for a 360 or £2000 for a PC. I will get one int he next few months myself. consoles are much more fun when you got the mates around.

Where did you buy it from?
I went shopping with my mate for one, we just went to Currys in Fakenham, Norfolk. He asked if they had any left and they looked confused and said of course they had!
Snap, except the guys in our local Comet were excited that they still had 2 in stock

Well. Played it on my Desktop. 2800 Athlon XP,1.5GB DDR, 256mb 6800GT and a nice fast SATA Raptor and on my 360.
Overall I think the 360 has the edge. I'm running it on a 32" Tosh LCD in 720p and it's stunning.
If your're judging COD2 on the 360 playing on a demo screen in a shop then don't. The screens are shite. I was very dissapointed in the COD2 demo I saw. Running on my TV their is no comparison.

In answer to that no i haven't stood next to an enzo ticking over but I meant compared to other games that have these cars on I think they've done a pretty decent job.
I think the Viper is about the only one that sounds like a real car, all in my humble opinion of course

Graphics hardware on PCs is more advanced and always will be more advanced than even the latest consoles. Try it with the current generation of top-end cards (X1800 for example) which have output for HD TVs and you will see that the 360 is already well out-of-date. Of course the graphics card alone costs more than a 360 but you get what you pay for! Compare the respective versions of Quake 4 for a comparison, I haven't seen it myself but apparently the 360 really struggles to run it.
Consoles have their place for being convenient, easy, better when your mates are over etc, but will always lag behind in pure power.

No argument here, if you're just talking numbers...but...

Do you? Do you really? Do you get 10x as much out of your ninja PC than you do from your PlayCubeBox? Does that extra resolution, those extra few frames really make that much of a difference? Add in the endless cycle of upgrades, driver downloads and hardware conflicts, and for most people the answer is a resounding no.
