XBox E74/E79 Errors?

Anyone else had these?

Mine's done it 3 times so far. Have managed to get it working again by either powering it all down, or just removing the game disk.

PGR3 crashes alot too (though I've heard it's pretty buggy for Live games)

It's a pain as it's intermittent. Don't really want to send the unit back, but I'd rather have one that works consistently!

bump - my Xbox continued to get these errors and then died on me last night

So it's going back to Microsoft!

tried a drive cleaning disk a couple of times ? sounds like a similar thing to the PS2 problems...

not had any errors but frequently when i'm playing PGR3 on live and looking at people's profiles while waiting for a race to start or something it just freezes on me.

Problems weren't disk related as they were all new and spotless. I think the DVD drive went t1ts up?

PGR3 is not short of a bug or 3 and everyone I know has had lock-ups playing Live.

UPS are supposed to be picking it up today for replacement by Microsoft.

I have had alot of the lock ups too when online, in a game and then switch into the xbox dashboard (if i get a mssg or somone comes online etc) then locks up when i try to go back into the game.

I think its somthing to do with the OS, games seem fine if you dont jump into the dashboard.. .. .. ..
