Im getting a bit bored of racing the lotus so im trying some other cars out.

I can go fairly good in the 911 but I tend to crash quite a bit due to lift off oversteer.

The GT40 is awesome when braking, and acceleration is good as well but im finding it very hard to accelerate when turning, even slightly. Starts to spin very easily, and although I can catch it 90% of the time its slowing me down allot as ive got no confidence on the power.

Ive tried messing with things in the setup but I cant seem to make it much better
Even ajusting the diff to slip 60% wont help much.

Any tips on tuning or drivng the GT40?

Id like to run it in the next race if I can get more consistent.

You'll always have that problem with the gt40 to be honest - you need to learn how to be smooth on the gas

Yep, I think your right.
Its mostly down to my right foot again.

Ive stiffend the roll bars and softened the rear shocks.
Messed with camber and rebound.

Although ive got it better its still frightening.
Biggest gain was shifting to higher gear ratios, although they are a tad too long now it makes gear selection easyer for several corners and reduces tire spin a bit.
The one corner where im struggling im shifting up 2krpm early, this stops me from spinning.

But I just did a ten lap race and managed 1.57 laps most of the time, with some 1.55/6 as well. Did crash twice but didnt loose much time.

Best I can do in the lotus is 2.00.9 so the gt40 is going to be quicker if I dont crash.
If I spend the rest of the week running this car I might be able to get more consitent.

remember its not all about blistering lap times - if you put in regular times that are reasonable - you'll naturally overtake people (like me) who drive flat out all the time and make a mess of their race
