PSP not charging

Had a problem with my PSP last night, it refused to charge, saying that it har 0%, but charging complete.
After much fuggering about I found this tip which worked, and thought I would post it here, so that anyone else who has this problem can see it, and I will know where to look if it happens again!
"I fooled it in to wanting to charge the battery again by having the ac adapter connected and then pulling out the battery and then unplugging the ac adapter. Then with the psp off put the battery back in then re-connect the ac charger. Wait a couple of minutes then check to see if the indicated charge has gone up." - Thanks to the random poster for this one, it worked for me!
