I'm in a world of hurt for the next 3 weeks as I'm off to Japan on business at the end of the month and need to prepare... if this league is still going when I get back I'll do my best to join up!

I was hoping the format would be far simpler TBH.
Select the track for the week and run every car selection the same night.

Shortest possible layout of track, 10 mins prac to get a setup, 10 mins qual, 15 lap race.

Points same as F1 used to be 10, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1. No points for fastest lap or qualifying.
No pitstops.
ie. this week would be Magny Cours club, race 1 in mini / fiat, race 2 in alfa / cortina, race 3 (if theres time) in a couple of the bigger TC65s.
I'm not really bothered about the points either, I'm more interested in the racing.

I was thinking more along the lines of short tracks and short races (say 15 mins and no pit stops) with just a 5 min qualifying session. That way we can get 3 quick races in the hour. This way if you stuff up one race you know there will be another in 15 mins.

I certainly dont fancy Spa or Nordschliefe in the Minis

The only reason I spread out the points it that there are a ton of people racing now, perhaps might encourage people to compete for 1st in the league!
The reason I say that is that the 10, 6, 4 points will mean Ian buggers us all
Maybe that is why he suggested it?

I have changed it anyway, but any other ideas on points would be good

it'll be ok, its much easier to knock people off in the minis and there a few of us who can seemingly keep up with Ian (if not without spinning) in the slower cars!

Although unable to make this, another idea (just to keep it in here as it doesn't warrant a new thread) that I would like to see would be a solely GTC65 race with all the cars available except the GT40. So people can actually race the TVR, Daytona, Cobra, Mustang, Ferrari 275 and the rest....and still be very competitive.
