Some scrappy performances at Mondello park but little change overall in the league positions. With 4 races to go in the season, Ian Parker's victory in the 1976 class is all but a formality, after he further consolidated his lead with a maximum 12 points.

2nd place is still up for grabs, with several drivers within reach of the silver medal.

FourWheelDrift looked a sure winner in the '65 class but another first corner pile up put an end to the best laid plans, leaving him with a single point for fastest qualifier. A sterling drive by PVapour saw him stretch what may prove to be a telling lead in the 1965 class. With Dangerous Mike and Adam both absent, Dobbo was able to extend the gap in second position, whilst consistent driving sees Benaldo snatch third place overall.

Current Standings

On to Monza!

do I get a point for fastest lap in a 65 too?

As if it really matters

I thought PV did the fastest lap, but clearly I was wrong. I'll minus one from PV and add it onto you!

First Practice run using my Magny Cours set-up, 5 laps and down to 2'03'6. Recon I can get another second or so off. Don't know what a half decent lap time is, but i'm sure you'll all tell me

Dobbo - Thanks for the mention in the results summary !

I'm trying to believe that 'consistent' is a compliment and not just the fact that I have finished all the races and so by default am picking up points !! My girlfriend was getting worried about how much I was shouting/swearing at the monitor on Sunday's race......

Just for UncleDave (and any other Saddo's !) take a look at this race seat that one of my mates has just bought !! Not sure about the price but he likes his toys.....

See you at Monza for more 'consistent' (slow) racing !

It certainly was meant as one, because that's the best thing I can say about my own driving - I'm consistent, hence why I'm second!

I'm always at least a second slower than PVapour, Adam and D_Mike, but I've finished more races than they have.

Did a handfull of laps in the GT40, down to a 2m06.7s lap, some more to come too. Yet to try the 76 cars as I probably won't be around on Sunday if that's when Monza is done.

Into the 2m1secs this lap was 0.5s down on my best split in the first section because I was too cautious in the first chicane - www.mercia.biz/GTL/Monza-FWD-pant-2m01s.Vcr

Has anyone still got access to the online set-up files? 'cause mine just times out with none available

Also it seens to take longer to log on to the internet games forum.

I might go through them all at this rate

PS, online files don't seem to be there for me either.

Can I suggest someone with a FTP site handy creates a folder that we can dump some setups in - I've one or two and we can all share.

Share setups? Are you mad, I don't want to help my rivals. I want to win!

Managed a 2.06 last night whilst being interrupted regularly by Uncle posting from the server I reckon a 2:04 is possible with my 906 setup, but I'm comfortable crusing round at 2.08 at the moment.

I Must practice less and stop trying to take this so seriously. I'm just setting myself up for disappointment come race night when I'm still at the back
