I haven't started practising yet but I thought a thread might be needed.

I've driven it in GTL once, with a Ford Escort, did a 2m47s lap on the default setup - www.mercia.biz/GTL/Spa-2m47-2s.Vcr not brilliant and I won't be using the Escort in the race.

I've got rid of my cold, feel a lot better and will be out once again in the GT40 bothering Pantera's.

Its a long old track isnt it

I've had a quick go in the 906 and managed a 2:48, but my gear ratios were too low. I always struggle at the bus stop AND La Souce hairpin here, I think I lose loadsa time on both. I can never take the 2nd left hander before the bus stop flat either (and I wish I could)

Just done a couple of laps online, best time 2:40.xxx in Pantera. If I get a chance to do any practice I'm hoping to get a couple of seconds off that by Sunday.

My guess is about 2:44 in the 906 when I stop getting distracted

I have discovered if you try and take eau rouge almost flat you can end up spinning around in a black hole on the outside of the barrier off the left side.

Haven't practiced at all at Spa, so I'm not particularly hopeful of my chances, can I hold on to second place?

Although I've only competed in 2 65 class races shouldn't I be on 14 points? 1 win, and 2x poles and 2x fastest laps.

I don't want to be on unlucky 13 going into tonights race
