If you are watching a replay, you can press keypad '0' or keypad '.' to slow it right down! You have to hold it down.

Also if in a race, you can vote by typing as a chat message '/vote yes' or '/vote no'

Neat! Any other little tricks anyone knows?

[ and ] adjust brake balance... handy for changing the balance of the car without having to pit when doing setups, for changing it on hotlaps for different corners and also for adjusting it throughout a race as your tyres wear.

That's a good one, I could have done with that at the Imola race.

For some reason I've never been able to make that work... does it say on screen when you change it?

Thanks for the tip about viewing other cars when in-car. Any more anyone?

HOME adjusts to nice cinematic views

No use unless you're into skinning or making some kind of 'promo' video.. I've used them a few times though

Try racing with one of them!!

Also, incase some people didn't know, the F keys, I think F2 and onwards disables and enables autoclutch, traction control and ABS etc..
And IIRC the spacebar changes that motec LCD screen thingy in the cockpit view.

Also, if you want the HUD (Head up display) in the cockpit view, you can! By just changing something in the PLR file. Post for more info.
You can also make the 'fastest lap' and 'split time' etc boxes transparent, or change the colour of them, but that is just cosmetic and requires editing of the DDS files

You can make pretty much any cosmetic changes to tracks/cars/drivers/helmets with a spot of editing

(I will think of more later)
Dave.

That's never worked for me either. I use to do that all the time in GTR until I got it just right. I just presumed that these older GT cars did not have it for real, so the game didnt have it either.

You can set the keys in the options, so maybe try changing to other keys and see if it works?

I'll have a go now.

Anyone going on now/whattimelater?

Dave.

I'm unavailable for racing for the next few days, decorating, flooring etc....

If the league race happens on Sunday I'll have to miss out, if on Monday I'll hopefully make it.

If you lose steering function on loading in controller settings unclick/click the reverse force feedback box to restore.

Also, if your force feedback goes sqwiffy in a race (it's trying to pull left or right) then Alt-F will reset it . Wouldn't do it on a corner though.
