PH vs RSms team race?

You may have seen a few guys racing GTL online with [RSms] tags infront of their names. Basiclaly [RSms] (www.rs-motorsport.co.uk) are a racing sim "clan" who seem to race GTL quite a lot.

Diver and I had a good race in the minis last night, a few RSms guys were there and I had a good battle with one of them. Diver suggessted afterwards we should organise a PH vs RSms race, which I thought was an awesome idea. We could get as many drivers from both our groups together as possible and have one massive race with loads of good, clean drivers. It'd be cool I think.

So, what do you guys think? Ideas for car/track/time? or is the whole thing a bad idea?

it's ok, I beat one of them yesterday (just!). Coming out of the last corner there were three of us abreast, luckily I beat the RSms guy and Diver to the line!

Sounds top stuff, would be good to see how we perform against another set of racers. I'm definatly up for it. Maybe a mini series of one race in each class ? Or just a single make cup ?

The Rsms guys seemed to race very fairly just like us and I think it would be very interesting to have some sort of team race

I've been reading the posts and all I can say is "Come and race us if you think your hard enough......" lol

We would welcome some fun races with you guys don't mind what we race, even if it has to be mini's, I think the last time I drove one was the day the game came out and it reminded me why never to buy one....

Mike if you want to meet up on MSN or something then send me and e-mail [e-mail] and we can work out a time or even meet in the lobby.

I would warn you that a couple of our drivers can only be explained as aliens in a car so be prepared to be scared by their lap times

You will find some of us on most nights prefixed [RSms] so just say hello and we will do the same.

Lets get one race sorted out then see how we go from there.

Thanks for taking the time to reply - we would be very happy to give you guys a run for your money...

We also have a pretty hefty server, so you can have no fear of lag etc. - we've had up to 20ish drivers at one time (all PHers) so we know that we can cope.

Come on chaps lets decide on a date and race format...

Who runs you server out of interest, it is something I am working on at the moment for our guys.

Wow you have 20 drivers, we have many memebers but our racing team consists of 6-7 of us, although i feel that it will be enough to give you guys a run for ya money I will expand this if I ever get our own server sorted. All our drivers are very clean. Most have been together from the begining.

Some info if you meet in the lobby

BigG - Kent, United Kingdom - Big by name, Big by nature.....
Grinsomat - Germany - He is mad and has about 5 different people in his head, see which one you meet
Ruskus - Netherlands - He is a young wiz in just about any car in GTL and very smooth.
Pero_Gronzi - Slovenia - He is just plain crazy in a car with some fantastic control
Andy! - Ipswich, United Kingdom - Consistant to the verge of boring, the old Arsenal of racing, but always gets results.
Barred - United Kingdom - Sadly he is away at the moment, we are not sure when he will be back.

and finally there is me RS - Essex, United Kingdom - I'm just rubbish, drink too much wine and swear and sulk a lot about anything!!!

So there you have it, if we need more drivers to make up the team we have plenty of friends

If we were to race it would have to be about 9:00pm GMT as we all have families, well accept the aliens they just practice GTL

If you want to set up a server one night and password it that would be cool, perhaps we could just have some fun first. All our drivers are very clean.

oh and we also race in GTR so we could maybe do this too

you've obviously encountered Diver & Neil & if they did'nt put you off then we should be up for a reet laugh as they're are genrerally considered our 'Special' racers

anyways, I'm up for anything as usual (except a Lan meet) I will try to be my usual pain in the a*se to everyone and except the abuse I get with distain
