The ring - best console/game

Need help choosing the best game/console to drive the 'Nordschleife'. I only visit once a year so looking to gain a bit more experience at arms length.

PS2 + GT4 + Logitech driving force pro.

Gran Turismo 4 on PS2 with a Logitech force feedback steering wheel. Physics are a bit strange at the limit, but to learn the track and have fun while doing so, it's excellent.

For the real driving experience I've got a GT1 - similar to the GTx but has a shelf for a normal TV to rest on, but they seemed to have stopped making them now.

I've got a PS2 with GT4 and an xbox with Forza.......


Deffinatly the PS2/GT4 combo is the best bet. Much better feeling of the track (and rumoured by those with more real ring experience to be the more realistic simulation of the actual track)

Forgot to mention, one of these -> www.playseats.com , a video projector and a sourround audio system is what gets me through winter.
