Supposed to be short but sweet, with lots of explosions, gore and cleavage. Bank on no more than about 6hrs of play.

Just finished it, for the money well worth it. Espcially clever is the fact that the game will match your skill level. Uses the HL2 engine.
I've also just finished it. Those damn mini-gunners are tricky unless you can keep them at a distance.
And as for that Alex(?) chick, well.....
I decided to play through the original since they bundle it in with the new one anyway, the acting deserves special mention as it is truly oscar winning stuff.

Not finished the original yet, it is dire in more ways than one, but will get round to the new one eventually.
How the hell do I kill the big bloody monster that comes crashing through all the wooden crates? He comes just as I get back into daylight after the lab sort of autodestructs.

If you jump and strafe he misses you. Also, don't sit still or he'll send a sort of shock wave at you.
