GTA San Andreas - Couple of Questions

Recently got GTA SA - I know I'm a long way behind the times on this one.

Does anyone know if there is any way to put more than one marker on the map? For example to mark the police station etc.

Secondly, in the police station, the first time I wandered in there I was able to grab everything (vest, gun, shotgun, giant purple sex toy etc) without anyone batting an eyelid. Whenever I've been in there since, the moment I pick up a gun I get a 2 star wanted rating? Any idea why this is, or was the first time a fluke?

AFAIK, you can only place 1 marker at a time.

As for the police station, you need the police uniform to be able to walk around inside without getting wanted stars. Also, don't draw or use any weapons whilst inside.

You dont need a uniform....just dont select a weapon while you are inside.

I'm still stuck on the mission where you have to ride the motocross bike along side tht train whilst your buddy shoots the other guys. I seem to always run out of track. Any tips?
