The last boxing game I bought was ready to rumble on the saturn... only played it for a day, just couldnt get into it.

Hard in what way?

Just going out now... trying to decide whether to buy it before I go (or not) I didnt know there was a demo, havnt played my 360 in months

I bough FN - seems ok. Not quite as much fun as I was expcecting, but still very good.

Is it possible to take your own custom character into online LIVE matches? I played one chap today who was using a "custom character" but I couldnt see an option to create one online, nor could I pick my own.

bought it, played it, got my 1000 points and not turned it on since, to be honest i just find it really repetitive and unexciting IMO. but then again its not really my kind of genre. Just waiting for the mighty Forza 2 to come out, come on Turn 10, ship it early!!

Not sure, you can pick your career characters in 2 player mode, i guess its possible for live..

One thing about this game is that it'll knacker your right thumb after 2 matches because of the constant rolling on the left analogue button..
