Bought a cheap laptop - any games I can play on it?
Discussion
Bought this at the weekend which I thought was a bit of a bargain. Primarily it's for surfing the web around the house and playing music etc. However, it'd also be cool if I could run a few modernish games on there for when I'm at my parents or something.
Not been playing games for a few years. Can anyone recommend some non-graphically intensive strategy type stuff that might run ok. Would C&C Generals be ok? Anything similar?
Cheers, Marc

Medieval Total War will work fine, I imagine C&C Generals will run OK as it's a 128MB card and the C&C style games aren't that grpahics intensive compared to Half lIfe 2 , Doom 3, etc.
Whilst searching for the spec of the graphics card I found this

Hope that helps.

I had the ati xpress 200 chipset in a PC some time ago... it didn't like thinking to hard which ruled out nice graphics but micromachines v4 will work fine
it's addictive and very annoying at the same time.
Generals should be fine. Just make sure you have latest drivers.
