A heads up and recommendation to anyone looking for a fun FPS game - and who has an old Quake3 CD lieing around (or access to *cough* bittorrent)...
the Urban Terror project are approaching their final release (Beta 4.0) - due to be released in about 12 days.
It uses the Quake3 engine (so old crappy PCs can play it) but with real guns, a bit like Counter Strike but about 50 times less pedestrian
also, about half the mappers are English so some of the levels look surprisingly like Wiltshire!
They have pushed the old Quake3 engine quite far considering they dont have full source code access!
