US PSP games?

Hi

I have just moved to LA and have taken my PSP with me. Im just wandering if anyone knows whether or not the US PSP games and movies will work on a UK supplied PSP console? Im out here for a year and really want to try out the new GT3 when/if it comes out.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

yes, they will. As will Japanese games

I hope they do, I'm in the states now and noticed that Lara Croft was only $39, which by my crude maths, means it's cheaper than ASDA. Luckily, my son has his PSP here aswell, so i'll try it and if it doesn't work, try and get my money back.
