Ive just installed the latest version of the stock car evo mod (0.97), and ran some laps, pretty interesting.

But then i changed the mod i was using and fired up the BMW F1 car.

I went into the garage, and noticed that everything had been changed for the SCE mod, and didnt revert back to normal when i swapped mods.

Is this a bug? Is it supposed to be installed in a way not detailed at their web site (or if it is, not on the download and installation instructions page)?

It appears to have hijacked my rf installation.

Best to ask at RSC about that it sounds like a bug, is SCE still beta? I've only used the ISI Stock cars myself that were released with v1.150

Actually are you running SCE on v1.150 or older as I'm pretty sure you need rFactor v1.096 or higher, think I read somewhere it doesn't work with v1.070.

Or try their own website - www.rfstockcars.com/

Didnt want to get drowned out by a series of "use the search!" posts so i thought id try my luck here. driving

Anyway, ive uninstalled it and everything is back to normal. got the v8factor mod on its way down the pipe now so ill probably leave SCE alone until they finish it.

Bathurst looks nice!

the F1 2005 mod does the same thing... I think you can reset it by changing the active mod, quitting rFactor and then starting it again!

we need to do more NASCAR racing, it's really fun!

(or the sprint cars on ovals when they come out!)

I thought that only changes the showroom front end graphics not the garage/settings screen.

no, if you play that and then the 79 F1 mod you can't change your tyres to qualy/race, you are just stuck with what it gives you, a few other settings are stuck too. I think Ian has had this problem too.

ah, never noticed that. Although for me once I've loaded rFactor it's very quick to reload if I quit out to go back to original graphics and things so not a big problem for me

I read last night that its a bug in rf itself, not the mods. Should be sorted out in the next patch.

Bathurst is great!
