Great game, but I have a few question for the PH collective on the subject of rFactor....

Has anyone tried the new Logitech wheel with 6 speed shifter/clutch and if so how does it perform. Its about £150 on dabs, anywhere got it cheaper?

A few times on the stockcar races I’ve had the pace car come out but the AI cars come to a standstill and seem to wait, after a while I think sod it and pass them, they then follow but I get a black flag! A bug?

Installed the alpine (A110?) along with a host of others, but I cant get any sound for the car for some reason? AFAIK I have copied the sound files across...

How do I see my experience points? I want to get my hands on the beasts ASAP!

What level of AI do you use? 95% seems ok, we are well paced on the straights and through the fast bends but I easily out brake them which makes the game a little to easy. 100% makes it hard for me to keep up! What do other PH’ers use?

Is engine reliability an issue? As a matter of course I up the rev limit if I canand always rev the balls of the cars, is engine failure simulated?

Some mods lose the sound if you run in All cars/All tracks mode, chose the specific car mod only and they work.

Look in your userdata/'your racing name' folder for the CCH files for each series, use notepad to open them and you will see the experience and money points for that series, just edit the numbers as you see fit, if it goes screwy you've added too much and re-edit. But you can easily get away with 20,000,000 money and 1,000,000 experience points, if you need any more try more.

I use 100% with 50% aggression but sometime turn both up if I'm too quick.

There is normal failure built in, turn up the revs and it'll die/smoke after a few laps. There is also a damage muliplyer as well in the settings.

I've just been using entirely default but I do want to change it to 900degrees of rotation. I have the feedback at full with as much force as I can get.
