Well, it's not long now until Guitar Hero 2 comes out (Nov 24). I know a few people on here liked the first one, so who's getting the second incarnation?
More songs, a practice mode, improved two-player and it's harder too, from what I understand.
I can't wait!

So how are people getting on with this? Have completed it on Medium, and definitely wasn't as easy as GH1. Time to struggle on with Hard level. Its moving my little finger to the orange fret that really throws me.

On a similar theme, has anyone played Elite Beat Agents for the DS? That is without doubt one of the best games I've ever played, and probably the best rhythm game.

Nope, that is basically what Guitar Hero 2 is, an improved version of 1 with more songs.

Finally got this on New Year's Day. Finished it on hard within a couple of days, trying to five-star everything before attempting expert properly - have tried a couple of the first songs and the leap from hard is bigger than in the first game. Reckon I'll need to know the songs quite well to have any kind of chance.
Otherwise, the hammer-ons and pull-offs are vastly improved, and I like the practice facility. However, I don't think the song list is as good as the first game.
Still great fun though!

I got it for Christmas.

I can get 5 stars on every song on medium (every time). Some of them gold stars. But now im playing hard, I suck. A lot. Ive just about scraped though most of them to level 6 but theres two songs now I just cant get anywhere on.

The jump from medium to hard seems a bit much, but I might get there with practice. Never had no1, so this is my first time on it.

It wont, but one will be on the 360.

Maybe there will be a similar one on the 360 but I havent seen one in the pipeline.
