Christmas driving challenge

Who fancies a competitive driving challenge over the festive break?
If we can all agree on a sim (out of say GTL, GTR, Race, GT4), a car, mods allowed if any, a circuit and finally a challenge (I suggest fastest practice lap)
Any one up for it?

I don't have rFactor yet, how does it compare to the above mentioned sims and what does it cost?
I've had a look at the thread and it looks an interesting fun challenge.

Go to www.rfactor.net and download the demo, you get some basic cars and the 2006 BMW Sauber F1 car, try it out. It's basically the same as GTR2 but uses a newer GMotor engine and has better netcode that the Simbin stuff.

rFactor is made by ISI, Simbin use a licensed version of ISI's GMotor for their games. Simbin just added their own extras like rain and their own online netcode. The only real visual difference (discounting rain that's on it's way for rFactor as well) is the fogging that Simbin use on all their tracks, why I don't know, it's wierd having tracks with fogging effects when it's braod daylight but.... If you want rFactor track to look the same you just modify the tracks SCN file.

rFactor is a strange one. I bought it, and hated it for about a week. Until i realized how to set up my controls to make it perfect, and just how many great addons there are. Its unrivalled at the moment imho.
