Merrwii Christmas - but what games to buy now?

Okay, so got my wii for xmas . Very cool piece of kit. Graphics not amazing but the gameplay is brilliant. I dont know if its just aimed at kids but im 21 and i love it!

I am wanting to trade in some xbox 360 games for maybe 2 or 3 wii games but have no idea what kinda game to get.
All ihave at the mo is the wii sports which came with it. Im in to most games but not a big fan of zelda.

Would love to hear what games you have been playing and which games you would recommend?

For a Start my mum has on and i p[lay it (i'm 29, mother is 50, and while on it I kicked her ass today on bolwing, 244 points, 4 spares and 6 Strikes) so not for the young ones

as for games Zelda is a must . trying to get my mum off it but no chance. great game. she likes platformers so not sure on others games to get got the Wii. she's just got Zelda, rayman, Sports and other gasme that come with the extra controller

I recommend Rayman for a great party game. It is good as a single player to play through once, but doesn't have any longevity.

What about call of duty 3? seems to get quite good reviews for the wii... are there any other sports games out apart from wii sports that are any good??

If you can hold out til the 12th of Jan, Warioware is out and it looks amazing.

and what is that? Are they not going to do any sort of sport game?? mayb snooker, or darts? I think that would be good. All i want is a few games which show off what the wii can do but are also good fun to play?

Warioware isn't sports as such, it's a series of microgames that might ask you to do various different things, like put the wiimote above your head and do a series of weightlifts, act as the conductor for a classical orchestra, pull a sword out of a stone, basically anything weird and wonderful that you could think of for using the wiimote for. Definitely one of the best games out there for showing off what it can do. I've also seen footage of one of the extra games within it where you hold the wiimote in your hand and have to pull off a load of dance moves at the same time as your on-screen avatar, possibly the most humiliating game yet, brilliant!

How do you get 244 points on bowling ?

I'm left handed and move the player all the way to the left bar a couple of clicks, and then do one clockwise move inwards, and spin the ball so it comes in at an angle to the first pin just on the left?!!?

Anyhow - I think the wii is absolutely fantastic!!! Not great graphics, but it's not needed...game play is great!!
