i think only the initial batch had the GT logo so it was an official tie-in with the game (GT4 being the first racing game to have specific code built in for the wheel) as they were launched at the same time. Now that GT4 has been on the market so long I guess they don't need the logo anymore

gt4 wasn't the first game, it's compatible with gt3 (it says on the box that it is i personaly don't own it)

unless that's like a newer version that's compatible with it

there were other wheels compatible with it, but not the driving pro force wheel. that came like 2-3 years after its release and about a year before gt4 even came out.

That makes sense

Thanks for the info

And also if you happen to know,

How's come the DFP can't do any of the AmateurProfessionalSimulation jazz that the downgraded version can?

Ok, on GT4 under the steering options menu about 5 down or so is the stering mode selection menu. You can choose from Ameture, Professional, and Simulation.(sry bot that last post apparently backslahes don't show up)

I'd just like to know why my more expensive, upgraded wheel can't choose in between these settings, and the downgraded ,cheaper version can.

It's puzzling...

Going off the subject a bit (ok its a lot) (sorry) but does anyone know if the G25 will be/is compatible with NFS Most Wanted?

well i'm not sure...if it's compatible with the driving force pro i can imagine that the G25 would work

but why the hell would you wanna' play that arcade POC on a $300+ simulation wheel??

Thats very true

So does this mean that the fact that the gear lever has one button for every gear doesn't matter?
I thought only newish games would work with this technology
