Thought it wasn't released until tomorrow...?
Oh yes forgot that, ooops. Seems my local game shop forgot that
Well only played about 20 mins so far but the graphics are amazing but the controls take some time to get used to. may get used to it when i get some more time on the game

I bought Call of Duty 2 the other day for the 360 cuz my PC is still in the UK, so missed the maps on that, but now I've found that COD3 is actually better, and that my version is Spanish. heh.
So Im taking it back tomorrow and reserving LP.
What is the MP like on the game.
(sorry about all the short hand, flipping annoying isnt it).

Rented it last night. Very good game and extremely addictive. Controls took some time to get used but still not enough to take your mind away from the gameplay. Graphics are great and seems pretty in depth story.
Played it online as well. Seemed to be a bit sparse with players compared to the size of the map but still very enjoyable.

Think Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, then add War Of The Worlds and Terminator, with a pinch of Aliens.
Well, it's nothing like that whatsoever!
Basically, frozen planet (ice and snow) with mechanised aliens that you blast to Hell every given opportunity.
You've also got a countdown timer thingymaboob which you need to replenish before it zeros - so you can't really take your time wandering about for fun.
You'd be better off reading here - www.xbox.com:80/en-GB/lostplanet/default.htm

You can download a demo from the Xbox Live marketplace - 400mb I think... I played that and ordered the game on the strength of it.
In the demo (don't know if the developers have changed it since), it isn't strictly a FPS, i.e. First Person, like Halo. It's more like GOW - you can see your character in front of you, but unlike GOW, the target reticule is always in front of HIM, so no need to hit an "aim" button. Does that make sense?
Like I say, I've only played the demo, so I could be talking out of my ar$e with regard to the full game...
Edit - That's you, there, with the funny helmet. Am I allowed to post this pic here? (lol, OMG n00b!!1!oneone! etc) It's from IGN.com.

How on earth do you save the damn thing? I've done the training mission and some of the first mission three times now and each time I turn the Xbox on I have to start again from the very beginning, it doesn't even allow me to choose 'Continue' on the main screen.
Make sure you have configured a storage device within the game - if I remember rightly, it asks you when you boot it up or there's an option from the main screen.
