This is by far my favourite track. I've never been there in real life, but I've seen a few vids on the net and I've always loved the look of it.

You can download it at www.rfactorcentral.com

I love how narrow it is - feels really intimate and you really get immersed in it.

Had the game about 4 days now, favourite mod by far is the Caterham Cup - for me it's more fun racing round in a capable car without stupid power.

The 1979 GP is also a fine mod. Played it on the PH server on Wednesday and was awful at it! Since found out that my wheel was set up completely incorrectly (I was only getting 1/2 lock!) and now I can control the things vaguely!

E46 M3 'Street Racing' is also good fun. Hilarious drifts are possible.

I've mainly being playing Cadwell so far - need to learn some more tracks!

My best times so far:

E46 M3 - 1:43:xx

Caterham 1.4 - 1:46:xx

Dunnoes how well that matches the real life times possible on the track?

Anyways... what a game! Now I've got my wheel set up properly, I really get into it!

Highly recommended.

Update: M3 - 1:42:657

Cadwell is a nice track. I think some people have a problem with low FPS (steam powered graphics cards think).

I found the track a bit too narrow than it really is, and its also way too slippery running up the hill between copse and charlies 1 ( end of the start straight) same goes for the exit of the haipin to barn, just not enough grip.

My qualifying time in the tuscan in 2005 ( stock 4ltr chim motor and treaded tyres) was 1:42.65 for a real life comparison

the 2cv's did it in 205.86

and a classic thunder bmw M3 1:48

Yeah you're spot on Graham. I've found you have to be bloody quick to catch the tail if you dare to gun it up the hill after the start straight and barn is ridiculous.

Makes it fun though

I've done a 1m1s lap with a 2005 F1 McLaren.
